Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in language services.
  • Proven success recruiting for U.S.-based companies, ideally in remote or distributed team environments.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with OPI workflows, interpreter qualifications, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
  • Experience using ATS platforms and remote collaboration tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on candidate experience and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified interpreters for OPI (and optionally VRI) services across multiple languages.
  • Conduct structured interviews and language assessments to evaluate interpreter proficiency, platform readiness, and compliance with service standards.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast interpreter needs based on client demand and strategic growth plans.
  • Support onboarding and training processes, ensuring interpreters complete platform setup and orientation.
  • Monitor early-stage interpreter performance and provide feedback or escalate concerns to the quality team.
  • Stay current on industry trends, interpreter credentialing standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
