Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation
- Minimum C1 fluency in English
- Valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE accepted for English proficiency
- Proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months
- ALTA: Minimum score of 9 required
- LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required
- Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology
- Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications
- Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email
- Hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited)
- High-quality, noise-canceling USB headset
- Minimum of Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM
- Latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge
