Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital PR
  • 2+ years in a leadership or senior management role within an agency
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality digital PR campaigns with measurable impact
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience working with executives from marketing leaders to CEOs
  • Experience in managing, nurturing, and coaching team members
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence in client-facing roles
  • Strong knowledge of US and UK media landscapes
  • Active network of journalist and influencer contacts
  • Familiarity with tools such as BuzzStream, Cision, HARO, Prowly, Ahrefs, and similar platforms
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and great at working independently
  • Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals (bonus)
  • Strong grasp of content strategy (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Digital PR service and strategy, aligned to client goals.
  • Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of multi-channel PR campaigns across US, UK, and global markets.
  • Drive innovation in campaign concepts, ensuring data-driven creativity and high-quality storytelling.
  • Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and performance forecasting.
  • Orchestrate content-centered campaigns in coordination with our editorial and original research analysts to amplify coverage and distribution of owned content assets.
  • Manage and mentor digital PR managers and specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and experimentation.
  • Build a hiring roadmap to scale the digital PR function, lead recruitment, and improve onboarding and training processes.
  • Join and lead client consulting calls, communicating our strategy, progress, and results.
  • Create and eventually direct the creation of outreach strategies, editorial calendars, and digital PR assets like original research campaigns and thought leadership narratives.
  • Oversee high-impact link-building, brand mention, and content distribution campaigns with an emphasis on quality, authority, and relevance.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase the brand’s visibility in AI-powered search and answer engines.
  • Define and track digital PR KPIs, including links earned, media mentions, brand visibility in AI engines, coverage authority, and SEO impact.
