Job Details

Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
Over 5 years of experience in a high-level Finance role
Understanding of current financial, regulatory & tax landscape
Familiarity with the jurisdictional complexities of organizations in this space
Strong finance-based modeling & analytical skills
Solid working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, Carta, QBO
Comfortable using Zoom and other video conferencing tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to context shift, communicate, prioritize and evaluate needs
Experience with and a passion for working with rapidly growing startups and their founders

Partner strategically with clients in various industries such as Fintech, Crypto/Blockchain/NFT, SaaS, Consumer, and Healthcare
Help bridge the gap between legacy financial thinking and new blockchain-based ecosystems, functions and capital flows
Support startup clients who need high-level finance help but may not have a need for a full-time internal CFO at their current stage
Manage the entire Finance function for your clients
Build out robust processes and systems for our clients
Lead client fundraising efforts – evaluating the size of a fundraising round, model cap table scenarios/dilution, assist with pitch deck preparation, facilitate investor introductions, and participate in investor pitches
Design the Finance function from the ground up, including building out team structures, implementing systems, and developing processes
Drive comprehensive reporting of financial performance, metrics, and KPIs
Juggle hard-hitting CFO deliverables while building strong client relationships
Own and lead cross-functional internal and external teams to drive clients to efficient, high-quality outcomes
