High school diploma or equivalent required. Multi-state surplus lines filing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of surplus lines insurance, commercial insurance policy types and surplus lines regulations or willingness to learn. General understanding of states’ surplus lines filing systems (e.g., proprietary state systems, SLIP and multi-state SLIP+, Optins, InsCipher, and ELANY). Proven ability to prioritize and manage work independently. Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to recognize and correct incorrect information, and escalate as needed. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office - specifically Sheets/Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
