Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day execution of cybersecurity PR programs, including media relations, analyst engagement, speaking, and content. Participate in weekly client calls and help prepare agendas, updates, and coverage reports. Keep projects organized and on schedule by managing timelines, deliverables, and internal communications. Conduct research on emerging threats, competitors, and regulations to inform storytelling and thought leadership. Contribute ideas for quarterly campaign planning and proactive media opportunities. Support media outreach efforts by researching reporters, building lists, and developing targeted pitches. Draft and distribute compelling story ideas that drive meaningful coverage in business, tech, and cybersecurity outlets. Monitor media trends, security news, and journalist activity to identify timely opportunities for clients. Assist in managing social and digital amplification strategies to extend earned media visibility. Track and report on media results to demonstrate the impact of PR efforts. Draft and edit a variety of materials, such as press releases, media pitches, client commentary, award submissions, speaking abstracts, blog posts, backgrounders, briefing documents, and talking points. Help translate technical cybersecurity topics into clear, engaging language for both media and business audiences. Ensure writing reflects accuracy, tone, and alignment with client messaging. Track and analyze media coverage and campaign results, sharing insights with clients and teams. Collaborate with teammates across digital, content, and design to support integrated PR initiatives. Learn and apply analytics and AI tools that enhance research, precision, and efficiency. Work closely with senior team members to support program execution and strengthen your cybersecurity knowledge. Take initiative on projects, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
