Senior Quality Engineer

5+ years of experience in test automation with a strong emphasis on web applications; mobile application experience is a plus. Proven track record of implementing technical projects from an architectural level. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO. High proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with implementing, maintaining, and debugging CI (BuildKite). Proven track record of delivering quality quickly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities. Strong technical judgment and deep understanding of quality best practices. Demonstrated ability to take the lead on quality initiatives. Proactive approach to quality with a 'shift-left' mindset. Familiarity or keen interest in AI-driven testing approaches. Proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams from project start to integrate quality. Lead quality initiatives and drive test automation practices. Develop and maintain automated tests across web and mobile using Playwright, Appium, and WebdriverIO with JavaScript/TypeScript. Create new architectural functionality to support automated test creation. Implement CI changes and debug failing tests. Identify and drive improvements to quality processes, tools, and frameworks. Participate in code reviews and share expertise. Help drive standards and best practices around test automation and quality. Continuously evaluate and explore innovative testing approaches. Take ownership of end-to-end test strategies. Turn project requirements into test cases and aid with test automation. Perform high-level project testing, including requirements analysis, feature testing, exploratory testing, regression testing, and UI/UX testing.
