Requirements:
Fluent English or C1 equivalent is required. 3–5 years of experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or staff accountants. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero. Strong understanding of accrual-basis and GAAP accounting. Experience with cloud-based accounting systems. Preferred: exposure to public accounting, consulting, eCommerce, technology, or real estate industries.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Manage weekly and monthly client communications. Supervise 1-3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work. Perform and review month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Reconcile tax returns to books and records. Set up and manage cloud-based accounting systems and integrations. Identify and recommend process or technology improvements. Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
