Requirements:
5+ years of backend engineering experience with modern programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, Ruby, or C# (Go preferred or willingness to learn). Experience designing and building ReSTful APIs and backend services. Strong understanding of distributed systems and inter-service communication (e.g., protobufs/gRPC, ReST, NSQ). Experience working with relational databases and SQL. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) microservices. Drive technical architecture and contribute to long-term system health. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and frontend teams. Participate in system design reviews and propose robust solutions. Own the quality, reliability, and observability of your code. Plan and execute projects from inception to delivery. Mentor peers and junior engineers.
