Requirements
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Experience coaching sales representatives in all aspects of a sale
- Experience organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills
- History of effective team building and management in high-volume and fast-paced environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience (preferred)
- 5 or more years of proven sales leadership experience as a top performer
- Familiar with Salesforce, Outreach, or other CRM systems (preferred)
- Proficient in Google Suite or like systems (preferred)
- Working knowledge of education industry (preferred)
- Working knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- Strong time-management skills
- Team player who is proactive
Responsibilities
- Monitors sales team performance
- Drives the sales process through team development and training
- Instills a lead-gen mentality
- Implements and reviews annual sales goals
- Ensures sales team meets objectives
- Establishes techniques to maximize productivity
- Holds regular team meetings
- Participates in business meetings for larger orders
- Heads on-the-job training for new representatives
- Provides positive, constructive feedback
- Maintains high-level market knowledge
- Acts as a resource to the sales team
- Manages regional expenses
- Reviews/approves expense reports
- Attends trade shows
- Acts as a Player-Coach in vacant territories
