Requirements:
2+ years of progressive SaaS software sales development experience Experience using prospecting tools (Salesforce, Apollo, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, etc.) Strong networker, connecting with prospects even when outside of sales-motion fostering deep relationships Excellent sleuthing, creativity, communication, and writing skills Track record of achieving and/or exceeding quotas Experience with Private Markets firms, Venture Capital or Private Equity is a plus
Responsibilities:
Build and execute outbound sales development plan to generate new business opportunities Conduct high-level conversations with key stakeholders in venture capital prospect accounts Write tailored messages and cold call qualified prospects Collaborate closely with Account Executives to create and prioritize target account lists and book qualified meetings Be the first point of contact handling all incoming customer enquiries Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in our CRM Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts Set meetings & demos between prospective clients and Standard Metrics Account Executives Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
