Requirements:
Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience supporting public health analytics, data strategy, performance reporting, or dashboard development. Demonstrated experience leading or advising on the design of public health dashboards, analytic products, or reporting frameworks. Strong working knowledge of public health analytic methods. Experience translating policy, program, and business questions into analytic requirements. Excellent ability to communicate analytic concepts and findings verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities:
Lead dashboard content, structure, and use cases for statewide and local public health dashboards. Define and document business requirements, KPIs, and success criteria for dashboards and reports. Validate dashboard usability and relevance for local public health and state partners. Serve as a biostatistical subject matter expert for dashboard design and data quality. Provide analytic guidance on public health reporting methods. Research and vet datasets, understanding limitations and biases. Incorporate social, demographic, and environmental context into analytic outputs. Serve as the primary point of contact for DPH partners on dashboard work. Facilitate analytic discussions and translate complex concepts into clear insights. Oversee Tableau dashboard development, ensuring analytic integrity and equity-focused design.
