Senior DevOps Engineer

8 to 10 years of industry architecture and engineering experience in technology, with at least 5 years in a DevOps role Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous testing Experience in a DevOps role focused on containerization, cloud computing Experience with the use of pipelines to support matching environments, automated deployment, pipelines, and version control efforts Experience with monitoring and lifecycle management of systems, platforms, and pipelines Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across cross-functional teams and customers Highly effective communication, time management, and organization skills

Planning and defining workflows for iterations, release management, and issue tracking Support Code development review, maintain source code management tools, and code merging support Use continuous integration tools, maintain the repository, automate Builds and provide build status Use continuous Testing tools to provide quick and timely feedback on the quality of the software release and code Collaborate on Releases and perform change management, release approvals, and release automation Perform Deployment services, incident management, and response in a consultative manner Maintain DevOps Operational environments, automating and using infrastructure as code Monitor and report on application performance and identify issues or quality concerns Scheduling and participating in the decommissioning of environments and repurposing resources Upgrade and support Elastic Kubernetes Services and Azure Kubernetes Service cluster infrastructure according to GitOps best practices Facilitate the deployment of highly available, recoverable, and scalable microservices to Kubernetes and traditional applications to virtual machines Investigate and mitigate issues associated with the performance and security of Kubernetes and DevOps-related cloud infrastructure Contribute to the definition of project scope and objectives Document application flows, create architecture and designs, and build knowledge repositories
