Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership 12+ years of legal experience in law firms, government, or in-house settings Minimum 5 years of experience advising on privacy matters, including healthcare and consumer privacy At least 2 years of experience advising on AI-related legal issues Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring legal teams Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across the business Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance Strong organizational skills and experience establishing governance frameworks for compliance and risk mitigation

Lead and manage the company’s privacy and AI legal functions, including building and scaling governance programs Provide actionable legal guidance to cross-functional teams on federal and state consumer, healthcare privacy, and AI regulations Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and government affairs teams to identify and mitigate legal risks Advise on novel issues arising at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce Develop and implement policies and frameworks to ensure compliance with evolving privacy and AI laws Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing legal team, fostering professional growth and accountability Serve as a trusted business partner, influencing decisions and enabling strategic initiatives while protecting the company
