Technical Lead (.NET / Full-Stack) – Tax Calculation

Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) in production environments Solid experience with SQL Server Proven experience working with and modernizing legacy systems Hands-on experience with Strangler Pattern or similar incremental approaches Strong background in automated testing (unit and integration) Experience with APIs and service-based architectures Prior experience acting as a Technical Lead (architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring) Experience in Tax, Finance, Compliance, or regulated domains Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams

Lead the technical modernization of legacy .NET and SQL Server applications Define and evolve system architecture using incremental modernization approaches Drive database decoupling and reduce tight coupling in legacy systems Establish and own testing strategies (unit, integration, regression) Perform code reviews with a focus on quality, test coverage, and risk reduction Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers Collaborate with product, QA, and business stakeholders Ensure system reliability, observability, and maintainability
