Competition Associate

2–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a reputable private practice environment. Exposure to competition law, whether through advisory work, investigations or disputes, and a genuine interest in specializing in this area. Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. A collaborative working style, coupled with the confidence to operate independently when required.

Advise clients on obtaining ACCC clearance for mergers, acquisitions and commercial transactions. Act for clients in ACCC investigations and enforcement actions. Handle competition and consumer-related litigation and disputes. Counsel clients on transaction structures, marketing, advertising, product recalls and compliance frameworks. Work closely with partners and senior lawyers, taking ownership of files and managing matters with autonomy.
