Controller - Bilingual ENG - SPN/POR

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred but not required. 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Experience in CPG, food and beverage, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy businesses strongly preferred. Strong understanding of inventory accounting, costing, and margin analysis. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems. Katana experience is a strong plus. Proven ability to build and scale processes. Comfortable using time-trackers. Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam. Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps). Available backup equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace.

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. Prepare and review financial statements. Ensure proper revenue recognition, inventory accounting, COGS, and accruals. Oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. Ensure accurate standard costing and variance analysis. Monitor and analyze margins. Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Implement and maintain strong internal controls. Own and optimize accounting systems and integrations. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax requirements. Coordinate with external CPA firms. Deliver clear financial analysis to support strategy. Act as a trusted financial thought partner to leadership.
