Sr. Manager, Engineering - Security Infrastructure Operations (Remote Eligible)

12+ years of progressive experience in technology. At least 5 years in a direct people management role for a technical team. BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience leading teams that manage large-scale cloud environments, preferably AWS. Demonstrated ability to set technical direction using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD practices. Strong technical background in a scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Java. Strong agile development skills. Deep understanding of the modern security operations toolchain. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A strategic mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.

Lead and mentor engineering talent. Develop and execute the strategy for security infrastructure, automation, and operations. Guide architectural design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment. Prioritize and direct engineering of automated solutions for threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. Embed security into the CI/CD process and advocate for automated security tooling. Oversee incident response activities and drive blameless post-mortems. Ensure technical controls and automation support continuous compliance with frameworks like FedRAMP, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
