Senior Onboarding Accountant

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Minimum of five years general accounting experience Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Extensive experience with data management, record keeping and web-based applications Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, QuickBooks Online and NetSuite preferred Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills Experience in audit preparation Ability to function well in a team-oriented virtual environment Desire and ability to become proficient with SAGE Intacct and other third-party applications Ability to work from home professionally and independently Nonprofit accounting experience preferred CPA licensure preferred

Onboard new clients and ensure proper recording of financial transactions. Provide comprehensive accounting services including AR, AP, and GL management. Prepare month-end close workbooks and financial statements. Track and report restricted funds for net asset roll forward. Assist with grant management and reporting. Manage audits, including preparation of schedules and support. Assist with 990 preparation and other filings. Provide specialized reporting. Organize and maintain client files. Assist with analysis, cash flow, and budget preparation.
