Principal Presale Engineer

8+ years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products OR 10+ years professional experience supporting technical products coupled with customer facing experience Excellent communicator and presenter Engaging storyteller Ability to understand customer communications needs and guide to a technical solution Previous software development experience or working knowledge in Backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP), Web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, frontend frameworks), or REST APIs Previous experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security Experience with sales methodologies Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture (Desired) Experience working with customers in UK, Ireland and the Nordics (Desired)

Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities (qualification, demos, PoC, RFPs, presentations) Lead technical and product sales, recommend best-practice solutions, guide API usage Establish trust by understanding customer pains and designing/presenting solutions Build and present interactive product demonstrations Identify and solve problems for customers and the organization Contribute to the presale community through knowledge sharing and material creation Mentor less experienced Presale Engineers
