Compliance Engineer – Electrical Industry Products

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product compliance within the electrical or electronics industry. Focus on UL, CE, and other global standards. In-depth understanding of electrical product standards (e.g., UL 508A, UL 2200, UL 1778, NFPA, ISO 19372, NEC). Proven experience navigating US and global regulatory frameworks and obtaining certifications. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ensure new electrical products comply with global standards (UL, CE, IEC, NFPA). Integrate compliance requirements into product design process. Coordinate product testing, validation, and certification with third-party agencies. Prepare, review, and maintain compliance documentation. Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to identify and mitigate compliance issues. Ensure continuing compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Support internal and external audits.
