5+ years experience in developing and evolving complex high volume data models 3+ years experience with data management platforms including SQL (SSAS), Tableau and Jupyter Notebook Applied experience in data transformation and visualization (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) Experience with strong Statistics and Mathematics knowledge Experience with Machine Learning techniques (Linear Models, Decision Trees, artificial neural networks) Knowledge of / experience with Python Skills in data analysis Proven track record of being able to plan, prioritize, estimate, and deliver projects Willingness to learn new tools and technologies Demonstrated examples of strategic thinking and analytical problem solving Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Team player with a collaborative mindset Analytical mindset Open and positive attitude Proactive and self-starter Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities Sense of urgency Experience building and deploying services in Python (bonus points)

Design and build new ML/DL/AI models, algorithms, and pipelines. Support and improve existing ML algorithms and pipelines. Write production-quality Python code with comprehensive tests. Build and evolve transformative, real-time marketplace pricing engines. Improve existing recommendation and prediction engines. Conduct use case analysis and automate analytical workflows. Formulate hypotheses and run analyses. Design and build dashboards in Metabase. Collaborate with Marketplace Operations and Data Teams. Collaborate with other departments and teams. Provide thought leadership on data science. Estimate roadmap items and support delivery. Troubleshoot and fix issues identified in production systems. Develop a deep understanding of the business and industry.
