Software Engineer III, Enterprise

3-5 years of software engineering experience with in-depth practical knowledge of modern web development. Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Go, Python, Java, or similar). Experience building and operating production web services and APIs. Familiarity with React or similar frontend frameworks. Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching systems (Redis). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies. Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex distributed systems. Understanding of security best practices for enterprise applications. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Experience building relationships across multiple teams to drive outcomes. Comfort receiving general instructions on routine work while exercising judgment within defined processes.

Develop features for Docker's Enterprise Command Center. Implement group management and RBAC capabilities. Build unified access control endpoints. Develop customer-facing insights dashboards. Build audit logging infrastructure. Implement SIEM/API integrations. Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions. Lead projects or steps within larger initiatives. Act as a technical resource for junior teammates. Partner with product management to translate requirements. Build relationships with other engineering and product teams.
