5+ years of career experience in an operational, fast-paced role. Experience in compliance, regulatory operations, permitting, or legal roles is a bonus. Experience working directly in the real estate or short-term rental industry is a bonus. Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, or Urban Planning. Exceptional written and verbal English skills. Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage complex workflows and meet deadlines. Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Ability to interpret regulations and ensure accuracy. Proficiency with Technology: Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira). Independent and Self-Motivated: Capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision. Familiarity with Regulatory Research: Experience conducting legal or regulatory research.

Prepare and submit permit applications for short-term rental properties. Maintain up-to-date records of all permits and compliance status. Monitor and analyze local regulations related to short-term rentals. Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities. Draft and review correspondence, including permit applications and compliance reports. Identify potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Conduct research to clarify complex regulatory requirements. Suggest and implement process improvements for permitting operations. Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding government regulations.
