Patient Safety Program Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public administration, public policy, public health, or a related field. Proven ability to design, implement, and support a regional technical assistance strategy. Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety topic areas and hands-on experience in nursing homes, hospitals, and/or clinician offices. In-depth understanding of quality measures and QI methodologies. Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.

Oversee patient safety related quality improvement initiatives. Support Quality Improvement Advisors (QIAs). Serve as a subject matter expert in patient safety topics. Engage with state, regional, and national partners.
