Manager, Accounting

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred Audit experience at Big 4 or large national/regional firm preferred Available to work during Pacific Time Zone hours 6+ years of progressive accounting experience At least 3 years in accounting leadership Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members with direct supervisory responsibility Experience in consumer goods, e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing environments Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Manage monthly financial close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Collaborate cross-functionally on accounting and finance projects. Partner with other departments to support business goals and provide financial insights. Design operational procedures to meet audit standards and improve efficiency. Identify and implement audit automation and efficiency improvements. Serve as a primary contact for external auditors. Participate in system implementations and upgrades. Utilize NetSuite and advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis. Handle varied special projects, reporting, and ad hoc tasks.
