Requirements:
BA/BS degree 3+ years of educational sales experience Prior experience selling supplemental educational resources 5+ years of teaching and/or school administrative experience Exceptional presentation skills One-on-one conversational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Passion for bringing supplemental and family engagement solutions to educators Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to travel up to 85% of the time Must live no more than 45 minutes from a major airport
Responsibilities:
Drive sales by introducing Carson Dellosa and IXL supplemental educational resources Partner closely with Carson Dellosa and IXL field sales managers and reps Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values Leverage market and product knowledge to identify new opportunities Deliver engaging, impactful presentations to educators Develop and demonstrate a strong understanding of all IXL products Understand and stay current with ever-changing market trends Partner with sales reps throughout IXL to prospect specific district and state education departments Build and execute a clear, strategic territory action plan Keep up to date records of all sales activity in the CRM
