UI/UX Designer

Professional UI/UX design experience building web application interfaces. Experience demonstrating user-centered design process (research → ideation → iteration → validation) and shipped product work. Proficiency in Figma and modern front-end implementation (CSS/SCSS, component-based UI in React). Experience demoing design work, gathering feedback, and translating it into action. Working knowledge of Git/GitLab workflows (issues, merge requests, code review, CI basics). Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to customers and cross-functional teams. BS/BA degree and minimum of 5 years related experience required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. US Citizenship required for clearance.

Communicate with customers and end users to gather feedback and iterate on design concepts. Create low/high-fidelity wireframes and visual mockups. Prepare and deliver demo-ready design walk-throughs. Convert approved designs into clean, maintainable CSS/SCSS. Partner with developers to align styling, components, and accessibility standards. Review and update Git/GitLab issues. Attend project and team meetings and contribute to delivery commitments. Participate in developer discussions and provide UI/UX input.
