Specialist/Sr. Specialist, Clinical Licensing

2+ years of experience in behavioral health clinician and MD licensing. Experience with clinician or MD licensing in multiple states. Proficient knowledge of TJC Behavioral Health and HIPAA Standards. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent career experience in healthcare. Microsoft Office proficiency. Proactive mindset and strong initiative. Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills. Ability to communicate and build rapport at all levels. Strong project management skills. Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Ability to document activity and maintain records. Ability to meet goals.

Cross license clinical and medical staff in multiple states. Maintain records of all licensing activities. Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual licensing goals. Prequalify clinicians for licensure eligibility. Research state licensing laws and regulations. Research CEU requirements and notify clinicians of deadlines. Complete licensure renewals and apply for permits/registrations. Communicate with state licensing boards on behalf of clinicians. Communicate with clinical and medical staff to gather necessary information. Maintain ongoing communication with cross-department teams regarding licensing status. Organize work for accuracy and efficiency.
