Requirements:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the administration of US Federal, Institutional and Government funded awards and subawards. Proven knowledge and understanding of US Funding Regulations. Ability to interpret and apply funding rules and regulations flexibly. Strong systems mindset with ability to identify and mitigate gaps and risks. Excellent organizational skills and initiative. Clear and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across global cultures. Adept at detail-oriented work while maintaining big picture perspective. Ability to autonomously manage multiple deliverables. Ability to work under supervision and independently. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite. Familiarity with Salesforce and Slack is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the lifecycle of 30-50 active grant agreements. Contribute to grant application processes and pre-award due diligence. Ensure and document due diligence and procurement protocols for subgrantees. Lead subgrant agreement and grant amendment negotiations. Track post-award data, requirements, and tasks. Work with the Finance team on grant conditionality and GL account treatment. Conduct award kick-off meetings. Monitor active awards for compliance and mitigate non-compliance. Ensure on-time grant reporting. Liaise with finance and project managers on budget tracking. Author prior approval requests, no-cost extensions, and amendments. Coordinate external award audits and adverse event reporting. Coordinate and document award close-out. Maintain audit-ready grant files. Provide guidance on donor rules and regulations. Identify funding oversight, internal controls, and procurement gaps. Suggest processes to mitigate risks. Track regulatory and policy changes. Develop standard operating procedures for managing grants. Implement trainings on donor fund management. Create a culture of Grants Management and Donor Compliance.
