Junior Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Analysis, International Relations, Maritime Studies, or related fields. Experience in maritime-related research and analysis. Strong understanding of written products for customers and internal departments, with attention to a BLUF writing style. Experience with HUMINT cycle, Targeting and OSINT tools, smart technologies and solutions. Experience analyzing and supporting deployed systems. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with people across the globe in various timezones. Ability to work in ambiguous situations and maintain flexibility. Ability and willingness to use new technologies, tools, and software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Create geographic area-specific reports detailing recent events, detections, and artifacts based on SmartMast data. Provide assessments on how events relate to customer topics of interest, tailoring them to specific customer needs. Research and analyze maritime events to provide reports on SmartMast data for customer engagement. Assist the Growth team with client engagement by providing relevant products and deliverables. Craft long and short form products to demonstrate SmartMast effectiveness for client acquisition and growth. Research and analyze to identify new fleets or vessels for SmartMast hosting. Research vessel patterns of life and identify frequent vessels/captains within specific areas of interest. Communicate research findings to the field operations team.
