Principal Engineer - Information Security

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field 8–10 years of experience in Information Security engineering Deep professional expertise in Information Security architecture and cybersecurity procedures Ability to lead and implement solutions to complex, unscoped problems Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with key contacts outside immediate area of expertise Experience coaching and developing junior peers Proven ability to set technical direction for teams Comfortable operating with a high level of independence

Lead the development and implementation of security architectures across network and computer systems Own the installation and configuration of network hardware and software Oversee network monitoring by continuously identifying and addressing potential security threats across LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related devices Lead vulnerability assessments across systems and applications Direct incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, mitigation, and post-incident analysis Coach and mentor junior network engineers Influence multiple areas within the domain, with potential to impact the broader department’s strategic direction
