Certified Medical Assistant

Current CMA/CCMA certificate issued by a recognized group Relevant professional experience, preferably in a healthcare setting Excellent oral and written communication skills Positive interpersonal and telephone skills General computer skills and ability to navigate the internet Passion and energy to handle complex situations Ability to work well in a team setting requiring a high level of collaboration 18 months of previous clinical experience 1+ years of insurance and billing experience

Answers calls and routes incoming correspondence Requests and obtains patient records Corresponds with outside providers Plays an active role with the Interdisciplinary team Supports patients and team members with videoconference technology Maintains up to date patient health records Schedules HV/VC visits Creates new patient packets Assists with TARS/Authorizations and pharmacy communication Coordinates transportation for patient medical appointments Assists in the smooth day to day running of the office Monitors and requests the ordering of office supplies
