Finance Manager (AU Tax) - Work From Home

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification (highly regarded). Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Finance Manager or senior accounting role. Experience in technology, R&D-heavy, or high-growth environments (preferred). Strong technical accounting knowledge, including R&D and inventory accounting. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Experience managing AP, AR, and Payroll functions. High proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, and Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders. High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability. Comfortable working within a small business unit with evolving processes and structures.

Manage end-to-end financial operations for the business unit. Maintain accounting practices for R&D, technology development costs, and inventory. Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes. Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory obligations, and accounting standards. Provide financial modelling, budgeting support, and scenario analysis. Assist with year-end processes, audits, and tax-related requirements. Implement and improve financial processes, reporting frameworks, and systems. Provide financial guidance to operational teams.
