Requirements
- Professional experience developing with Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript, ideally with Vue.js
- Strong expertise in Git and source control systems
- Experience integrating with external REST services and designing/consuming GraphQL schemas
- Familiarity with error tracking and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Grafana)
- Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Comfort building and maintaining both backend services and customer-facing interfaces
- Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment and collaborating across distributed teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend and frontend features and services in Ruby on Rails
- Design and extend GraphQL schemas and APIs
- Implement frontend experiences using Vue.js, Webpacker, and SCSS
- Use error tracking and monitoring tools to resolve issues
- Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to clarify requirements
- Drive the design and evolution of seat management and cost control systems
- Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering best practices
- Support remote, asynchronous working by documenting decisions and participating in incident response
