Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Data Ingest

Successfully designed & implemented high-scale elegant and simple distributed systems to solve complex problems. Enjoy writing modern Java or Go, and are in general flexible in learning & using the right tool for the job. Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar on large scale solutions. Deep understanding of technology trade-offs and costs of different options, to keep the system stable and scalable.

Design and Implement high-quality, scalable features for our core cloud-native platform, utilizing languages such as Java and/or Golang. Contribute to the full feature lifecycle, from participating in technical design discussions to deployment and monitoring. Develop and maintain resilient backend services and infrastructure components. Optimize existing code and services to ensure efficiency, performance, and reliability at scale. Participate actively in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex production issues, and join the team’s rotating on-call duty. Collaborate effectively with other Engineers, Architects, and Product Managers to translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications.
