EI Director

Master’s degree in a clinical or human services field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Special Education, Public Health, or related discipline) Minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience within New York State’s Early Intervention system Demonstrated experience in leadership, supervision, or program management Strong working knowledge of NYS EI regulations, billing systems, compliance requirements, and municipal contracting Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and manage teams in a remote environment

Provide strategic and clinical leadership for Early Intervention services Ensure compliance with NYSDOH regulations, audits, and data reporting Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff Oversee referrals, evaluations, IFSP coordination, and service implementation Maintain and manage municipal contracts and external vendor relationships Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management Monitor program quality, outcomes, productivity, utilization, and compliance Collaborate with executive leadership on program development and growth Ensure adherence to HIPAA, Medicaid, and organizational quality assurance standards
