Web Operations Specialist

3-5+ years experience with WordPress, hosting management, or technical website operations Strong understanding of DNS, CDNs, caching, performance optimization, and website architecture Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across technical stacks Familiarity with GA4, GTM, CallRail, GSC, and ad tracking pixels Exceptional communication skills Familiarity with SEO fundamentals is a plus Experience with Cloudflare rules and redirects is preferred Experience with WP Engine or similar hosts is preferred Ability to read server logs is preferred Comfortable with basic scripting is preferred Experience with Core Web Vitals and performance metrics is preferred Experience with ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg, and custom WordPress setups is preferred

Support and lead WordPress migrations Troubleshoot issues across plugins, themes, caching layers, DNS, hosting, Google tools, and marketing scripts Set up, configure, and maintain tools such as WP Engine, Cloudflare, NitroPack, etc. Handle escalations for website bugs, outages, and performance incidents Implement and audit Core Web Vitals and page speed optimizations Monitor and address security concerns Ensure plugin/theme updates are safe and tested Serve as a day-to-day technical resource for internal teams Help manage and mentor junior team members Assist in ticket prioritization and workload planning Coordinate with outside partners and client-side technical contacts Temporarily step in for the Manager of WebOps Represent WebOps in cross-department meetings Make informed decisions on task prioritization and emergency responses Review deliverables and ensure quality standards
