Customer Success Engineer

2/3+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in the SaaS space Previous software development experience in one or more of the following areas: Front End (JavaScript, TypeScript, React) or Back-End (Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C) Experience with data formats and data transformation Great oral and written communication skills Superior organizational skills working with multiple customers Ability to switch context quickly throughout the day with various competing demands and attention to detail Experience at our current stage and beyond ($150-300M+ ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure)

Partner closely with customers to deliver high-quality technical onboarding Provide solution design and best-practice guidance Offer hands-on implementation support Act as a technical owner for assigned accounts Ensure smooth delivery through clear communication, rigorous documentation, and stakeholder alignment Work with Sales Teams and prospects on evaluation and adoption Understand and qualify customer goals with KPIs Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, POC, RFP responses Develop custom search applications Distill and advocate customer interests, needs, and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams Continuously learn and update skills in Search and Discovery space Work with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on seamless transition to post-sales process
