Parent Leadership Development Lead

Minimum of 5 years of experience/accomplishments focusing on elevating parent voice in services for infants, toddlers, and their families Lived experience with the child welfare system Professional experience leading or supporting parent leaders, including knowledge of parent mentoring programs Demonstrated knowledge of the child welfare system, related state and federal policies, infant/toddler social-emotional development, and impact of abuse and neglect. Exceptional reasoning, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills Ability to build relationships and influence others Effective oral and written communication to a broad range of audiences Strong project management and organizational skills Supervisory experience preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Lead parent leadership development activities for the Safe Babies approach. Develop and monitor project plans and reports. Coordinate and provide guidance on peer mentor programming. Assess and disseminate successful strategies using a CQI process. Provide functional guidance and coaching to contracted parent leaders and team members. Collaborate across teams to co-develop and deliver resources, training, and technical assistance. Build and maintain relationships with parent partners, organizations, and implementation sites. Provide functional leadership to elevate parent leadership within the Safe Babies approach. Implement a continuous quality improvement process to achieve program goals.
