Requirements:
5-10 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment. Fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics. High level of business acumen and experience working with C-level personnel. Smart, adaptable and open-minded.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff for pre-sales activities. Assist in the design and development of technology solutions. Demonstrate expertise on Rubrik's products, distributed architectures, file systems, and storage offerings. Act as a technical expert and consultant to propose solutions meeting customer requirements. Make technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management. Serve as a trusted technology advisor and internal resource on technical issues. Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers. Lead technical sales calls. Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision process, and funding.
