Requirements:
Managed a team of 70+ people. Experience on a VC-backed startup journey from Series A through Series C or later. Experience working on a complex, ML-based product. Deep understanding of software development processes and a product-centric approach. Experience with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design). Managed remote teams. Managed global teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of all Overstory’s technology, including software product, ML models, internal tools, and platform. Partner with VP Product & Strategy to advance the business with product development. Build a high-performing and diverse remote engineering team across multiple countries and time zones. Create a compelling technical vision and translate it into a 12-36 month strategy. Lead highly productive cross-functional teams to ship high-quality products daily. Foster an inclusive culture where everyone can do their best work. Create strong communication lines within the team and partnerships with other business areas.
