Legal Compliance Operations Manager

BA/BS degree in pre-law or business fields. 8+ years of progressive legal industry experience in fast-moving environments. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a people management role. Extraordinary written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Experience in reading and responding to subpoenas, garnishments, liens or levies, and/or unemployment claims. Strong project management experience. Proficient in technology including Google Workplace, Slack, MacOS, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience in business intelligence tools like Mode, Sigma, and Tableau. Experience working with alternative legal service providers and/or BPO Teams.

Shape the vision and direction of legal and state agency response processes. Directly manage an internal team of 3 Legal Operations Analysts and 1 Team Lead. Oversee DoorDash’s BPO Team, forming strategic relationships and negotiating rates. Build, develop, and drive the adoption of new workflow automation and business intelligence technology. Scale, innovate, and suggest improvements to existing legal compliance processes. Partner across Legal Data Engineering, Security, and IT organizations for data and technology projects. Oversee internal daily operations and partner with vendors to prepare data for legal requests. Take on increasingly complex projects and responsibilities.
