Requirements:
5-10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management within the healthcare industry specifically focused on serving self-insured employers. Proven history of retention and growth success. A Bachelor's degree is generally required. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of business planning, financial performance, and data analytics. Proven ability to create a strategic vision, develop comprehensive account plans, and influence stakeholders. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite Tools and CRM software (Salesforce).
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders. Develop and execute multi-year account plans, business plans, and growth initiatives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts (upsell and cross-sell). Act as the internal 'quarterback' for the account, coordinating with cross-functional teams. Monitor account performance, including P&L, revenue, growth, and retention targets. Stay informed on market dynamics and emerging trends to provide proactive insights. Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue using CRM tools like Salesforce. Travel as needed (often 30% or more) to client sites, corporate offices, and industry events.
