Requirements:
5-10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic account management within the healthcare industry specifically focused on serving self-insured employers. Proven history of retention and growth success. A Bachelor's degree is generally required. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong understanding of business planning, financial performance, and data analytics. Proven ability to create a strategic vision, develop comprehensive account plans, and influence stakeholders. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite Tools and CRM software (Salesforce).
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders. Develop and execute multi-year account plans, business plans, and growth initiatives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts. Act as the internal 'quarterback' for the account, coordinating with cross-functional teams. Monitor account performance, including P&L, revenue, growth, and retention targets. Stay informed on market dynamics and emerging trends to provide proactive, relevant insights. Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue using CRM tools like Salesforce. Travel as needed (often 30% or more) to client sites, corporate offices, and industry events.
