Lead Performance Tester (IC Leadership Role)

8+ years of hands-on experience in performance, load, and scalability testing Advanced proficiency with multiple performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling, LoadRunner Enterprise, Locust, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter) Expertise in test scripting and automation using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Groovy Deep understanding of distributed architectures Proficiency with profiling and analysis tools Proven ability to correlate and interpret metrics from APM platforms and system monitors Solid grasp of network and infrastructure fundamentals Experience defining SLAs, SLOs, and performance baselines Strong analytical mindset Git proficiency and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Architect and lead enterprise-grade performance testing frameworks Design, execute, and interpret performance, load, soak, and stress tests Build reusable performance harnesses using modern tools Author and maintain the Performance Testing Runbook Instrument systems for observability Perform deep-dive bottleneck analysis Work directly with backend, DevOps, and SRE teams Integrate performance metrics into CI/CD Mentor and influence engineers in performance engineering
