Requirements:
JD, LL.B. or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. 3 - 4 years PQE. Experience working in law, policy or regulatory in Australia, New Zealand or another relevant APJ jurisdiction. Understanding of telecoms and tech regulatory frameworks in the APJ region or other highly regulated industries. Experience advising on regulatory compliance matters at a law firm, in-house, or government agency. Demonstrates collaborative spirit and ability to work independently. Critical thinking, good judgment, and ability to balance priorities. Takes ownership of workstreams by maintaining clear task overviews and tracking deadlines. Strong organizational skills by coordinating across internal functions. Familiarity and experience in drafting regulatory filings and legislative consultation submissions. Experience managing responses to regulatory communications, enforcement actions, and inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and track policy and regulatory developments relevant to Twilio in APJ. Own and drive key GPRA APJ processes like newsletters and knowledge sharing. Track and ensure timely regulatory compliance obligations and reporting. Provide project management and administrative support to senior attorneys and policy leads. Assist with drafting, research, and document preparation for filings and meetings. Respond promptly to internal stakeholders, summarizing regulatory requirements clearly. Support internal and external regulatory meetings. Manage complex legal and regulatory information, structure workflows, and identify compliance risks. Design and maintain compliance and regulatory document systems. Lead workflow design and process improvements, track metrics, and enhance team efficiency. Engage with senior decision makers to advance work programs. Maintain accurate updates in internal systems like Airtable.
