Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer within a SaaS environment Exceptional communication and presentation skills Proven ability to lead complex product demos and presentations Curious, adaptable, with a strong problem-solving mindset Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time within Canada and the U.S. Experience working with enterprise or public-sector accounts (plus) Ability to support long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (plus) Interest or background in the public transit or transportation industry (plus) Familiarity with GIS, APIs, or data analytics (plus) Self-motivated approach to professional development (plus)
Responsibilities:
Act as a technical expert throughout the sales cycle Understand client needs and translate them into solutions using Spare’s platform Deliver customized product demonstrations, simulations, and sandbox exercises Answer and validate technical components of RFPs, and represent Spare as the technical lead in client discussions Develop deep product expertise of Spare’s platform Collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams as a subject matter expert Understand competitors’ offerings to position Spare’s solutions Build trust-based relationships with clients Support ongoing client implementations to deepen product expertise
