Senior Atlassian Engineer

Minimum of 8 years of software programming experience 5 years as an Atlassian Administrator responsible for configuring and managing Jira and Confluence instances Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proficient scripting abilities in Groovy, Python, and JQL Possession of Atlassian Jira Certifications Practical experience with API integrations, webhooks, REST APIs, Ansible, and GitHub Residing in the Eastern or Central Time Zone (US)

Oversee and facilitate tool migrations, upgrades, and updates with minimal downtime and data integrity. Perform regular health checks and maintenance activities. Assess, install, and configure Jira plugins, Confluence macros, and integrations. Execute front-end administrative tasks for Jira. Establish and uphold security protocols. Create and manage backup and recovery plans for Jira and Confluence. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Atlassian tools and database servers. Monitor system performance and usage, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements. Ensure adherence to all relevant security policies and procedures.
