Software Developer Team Lead

4+ years of experience in development. At least two years of technical leadership experience. Hands-on experience with Java 17+ (Spring Boot). Hands-on experience with microservice architecture. Hands-on experience with Angular 16+. Experience with complex projects in the public cloud (AWS is preferred). Overall knowledge with SaaS or PaaS is highly desired. Ability to coach, motivate, lead, energize, and manage a team of 6-8 software developers. Passion for technical mentorship, including code/peer review feedback. Strong English language communication and collaboration skills.

Recruit, onboard, mentor, and invest in software development talent. Directly manage an agile squad of developers to architect, build, and maintain the Caseware Cloud Data Analytics platform. Provide technical mentorship and career development, including performance reviews. Collaborate with Product, UX, and other teams to define and deliver secure, performant, and scalable designs. Develop a deep understanding of the Data Analytics Platform's technology and architecture. Provide day-to-day technical guidance as a subject matter expert. Represent the team in technical and product discussions. Champion Agile processes and manage team performance for iterative improvements. Coordinate with DevOps/CloudOps teams to ensure developers have necessary tools and support. Ensure stability of build pipelines and development environments. Provide 24/7 production support and drive continuous improvement. Contribute code to support the team's output on critical path features.
