Patient Outreach Coordinator - CO Pharmacy Tech License Required

Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Colorado. Nationally certified PTCB or equivalent strongly preferred. Commit to obtaining required licensure within a mutually agreed upon timeframe. 0-1 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related experience. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree or PTCB/ExCPT License strongly preferred. Strong verbal communication and phone skills. Ability to build rapport and relate with patients over the phone. Self-motivation and ability to work independently. Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. Attention to detail. Ability to learn new processes quickly. Results-oriented with a positive outlook. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Prior customer service experience / outbound call experience.

Make outbound phone calls to eligible patients. Enroll patients with Shields Partner Pharmacy. Educate patients on the services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program. Communicate with patients over the phone to explain program superiority. Access patient EMR and review chart notes prior to calls. Identify medications requiring special storage/handling and necessary supplies. Be flexible on shift times, including occasional Saturdays.
